southington fire officials reported that two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highwood Avenue and Oakland Road on Sept. 6, causing one car to hit a telephone pole. As a result of the incident, one of the drivers suffered injuries requiring hospitalization. Reportedly, the driver of the car that struck the pole received emergency transport to Bradley Memorial Hospital.
