At times, it can be difficult to understand what drives a person to carry out certain actions. Still, even if authorities do not fully know why a person performs a certain act, criminal charges could result. In fact, a person may need to defend against numerous charges if police and investigators believe he or she has a connection with multiple incidents.

One man in Connecticut is currently facing this type of ordeal after recently being taken into custody. According to reports, the man is suspected of carrying out a string of burglaries, which allegedly began in February. The thefts involved various items, including cars and lawn equipment. It was unclear how the 21-year-old man initially became a suspect, but surveillance video purportedly showed the man in the area.

Officers reportedly believed the man to be driving a pickup truck, and they saw one matching the description before the vehicle crashed and overturned. The driver got out of the vehicle and ran, but authorities later caught up with him by using a police dog. The man is currently facing several criminal charges, including for burglary, larceny and more.

Authorities mentioned that it did not appear that the man had a drug or alcohol problem that may have provided motive for these incidents. Nonetheless, this Connecticut man still has serious criminal charges to address. Fortunately, he has the opportunity to defend against these allegations as he sees fit, and gaining information on his options may allow him to determine what steps could best help him address his case.
